HISTORYThe Golden Dawn's founding Cipher Manuscript (around 1887–88) is written in a simple letter cipher taken from Johannes Trithemius' Polygraphia (1518), whose tabula recta (the progressive shift: 1st letter +0, 2nd +1, …) is an ancestor of the Vigenère. COMPUTEDType text and watch it run through the tabula recta. The shifts are also shown in balanced ternary, cross-linked to balanced ternary and the pair cipher. Unlike the Voynich (see the Voynich Vellum), this cipher is fully solved.
Colophon: style inspired by Mike Mignola's Hellboy (1994 era). Original art and text; no characters, names or panels used.

self-checks (kernel, then page)
Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
