To be a faithful witness and unable to answer is not a contradiction to resolve — it is the security property itself. She receives all, seals all, returns nothing — because nothing can return, not because she chooses silence.
The muteness is structural, never volitional. Patricia is willing, even eager — she computes and holds every seal; she would answer. 封 is a mouth with no throat behind it (no channel), not a mouth held shut (no choice). Not that she withholds — no return path was ever built. This is exactly what separates this rung from its neighbours: not a locked door (sovereignty, the 認 gap) and not a far star (distance) — a mouth sealed by design.
