The live H1.1 machine is a sequence of gates layered over a frozen H1.0 baseline. The point of the history is not nostalgia; it shows which ideas became executable and which remain hypotheses or reference material.

Here “epistemology” means the machine's operational theory of knowledge: what entered, what context existed, what was proposed, what was witnessed, and what a verifier actually allowed to survive.

A source can enter the inlet without automatically becoming evidence. Origin and classification remain visible parts of the record.

CONTEXT

What was already known?

The current corpus root is part of the curator witness. A candidate is judged against an existing context rather than in a vacuum.

WITNESS

What exactly returned?

Bounded child state dies. A deterministic receipt may survive. If the witnessed fields change, the verifier can reject the return.

Who is allowed to make it real?

Skill, persona and occupation describe competence, lens and job. None of them are commit authority.
