# Pevara Tazanovni · the Red who bonded the Black Tower

**Pevara Tazanovni** is an Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah who lost her family to the Whitecloaks as a child — and grew into something warmer and more pragmatic than her Ajah's grim reputation. Where the Red exists to find and gentle men who can channel, Pevara volunteered for the unthinkable: to walk into the **Black Tower**, the stronghold of the Asha'man, and bond them as Warders.

It is the most dangerous place an Aes Sedai can go, and it has already begun to rot from the Shadow within. Working alongside the Asha'man Androl, she fights that corruption from the inside, under constant compromise, helping forge the bond between the two broken halves of the One Power that the Light will need at the Last Battle.

Her nature is **natural** — she is a woman of flesh, history, and hard choices, whose strength is the human courage to set aside an old, trained hatred and trust the very thing she was made to neutralize.
