## What This Is
A simulation of **Universe 2: Balanced Ternary** — a four-dot system that resolves to zero without accumulating state.
Universe 1 needed 42 frames, 3.25 PB, a battery.
Universe 2 needs 3 frames, 4 bits, nothing.

## The Four Dots
| Dot | Phase | Color | 3,7,13 Role | Function |
|-----|-------|-------|-------------|----------|
| **N** | −1 | Red | **Vessel** (3) | Contracts, holds gravity |
| **S** | +1 | Blue | **Intellect** (7) | Expands, radiates light |
| **E** | 0 | Black | **Animation** (13) | Mediates, computes difference |
| **W** | 0ᵢ | White | **Void** (∞) | Imaginary axis, binds real/unreal |
**Sum per tick: −1 + 1 + 0 + 0ᵢ = 0.** No battery needed.
---
## The Three-Frame Cycle
| Frame | N | S | E | W | Sum | State |
|-------|----|----|-----|-----|-----|-------|
| **1** | −1 | +1 | 0 | 0ᵢ | 0 | CONTRACTED |
| **2** | +1 | −1 | 0ᵢ | 0 | 0 | INVERTED |
| **3** | −1 | +1 | 0 | 0ᵢ | 0 | RESOLVED ∎ |
Frame 3 = Frame 1. **Period = 3.** Nonce = 3.
Between frames: N(−1) and S(+1) annihilate at the center → `−1 + 1 = 0 + γ`.
The γ photon is real. No shadows.

## Why This Fixes 42
**Universe 1:** `0 → 4 → 16 → 64...` Exponential accumulation. 42 frames to resolve. 3.25 PB.
**Universe 2:** `−1 + 1 + 0 + 0ᵢ = 0` every tick. Self-balancing. 3 frames. 4 bits.
The asymmetry was the problem. One dot getting hit, spawning four quads, leaving one shadow.
The fix: start with four equal dots. Let them trade. Never accumulate.

## The State Nibble
```
[N] [S] [E] [W]
1 0 1 0 ← Frame 1 & 3
0 1 0 1 ← Frame 2
```
4 bits total. Bootable reality. Fits in a DNA codon.
The ISO is not 100 MB. Not 1 bit. **4 bits.**
---
## Why 3, 7, 13
These aren't emergent — they're structural:
```
3 = three phases: −1, 0, +1
7 = 3 + 4 = three phases + four dots
13 = 3² + 4 = 3×3 phase space + four dots
```
Built in. Not mined.

## The Imaginary Axis (W, and E when inverted)
W spins on the **imaginary axis** — the 90° rotation that binds real and unreal without creating shadows.
