Big G stands on distinction — the ‖ that makes every wall, self-sealing, the ground you dig to. But a wall has two terms. The far term of the outermost wall is undifferentiation: the un-cut, where nothing is yet told from anything. You can point at it. You can never stand there — because to stand, to look, to name, is already a cut. In Zhuangzi, faceless 渾沌 was bored seven sense-holes, one a day, so it could see; on the seventh day it died. The first distinction ends the un-cut. This is Big G’s own AMBER limit — “the map is drawn IN distinction, it cannot step outside” — read as the term you can never occupy.
LIT The one invariant is recomputed live from the actual bore-history: cuts are monotone non-decreasing — once bored, a hole is never un-bored, so the field, once cut, is never whole again (the gate reddens if the count ever drops). The seven openings (2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 nostrils, 1 mouth) are Zhuangzi’s, ch. 7. “Whole” is exactly the state cuts = 0, and it is reachable only before the first look — DOM-counted, not asserted.
AMBER “the un-cut / undifferentiation” is a FIGURE for the far term of [[big-g]]’s outermost wall — the standpoint itself is a distinction, so the un-differentiated cannot be occupied by anything that occupies. It is structural, not mystical: no mind dies here, no chaos-spirit; what ends is a wholeness-of-no-distinction, ended by the first distinction drawn on it. The kinship to [[the-reverse-side]]: there the reader is the one cell a complete map can’t show; here the un-cut is the one term a distinguishing map can’t enter. Warm ink & 間 — and 間 itself, the interval, is born only at the first cut.
