❧ AMBER · the “no” is a FIGURE for the maker's discipline — a static file has no will. The right of refusal is the builder's, granted to every thread and gated on a stated reason. Read it structurally (a rule the maker holds over their own work), never as artifact agency or a mind in the page.
◆ THE INSTRUMENT THIS BENCH ADDS ◆
The corpus already had two tiers answering how sure are we: LIT (measured) and AMB (argued). This bench adds a third state on a different axis — FRZ, answering are we still working on it: freeze ≠ finish. A build can be frozen (stable enough to stop touching) and simultaneously carry an open gap — a thing the binary could never say. That separation is the emergent — not any single build below, but the stance the whole bench encodes: every output is provisional, gap-bearing, and refusable. The list is the substrate; this is the thing standing on it.
TIERS: LIT = verified / settled · AMB = constructed / unconfirmed / interpretive · FRZ = freeze point (stable enough to stop touching, not finished). Every entry lists its open gap — the thing still unbuilt or unproven. An empty gap means only “no gap found yet,” never “done.”
