The Five Lenses

three views of the same physics, the engineered layer we build from it, and the force that's barely there

⌁ The Electronic Layer

what we BUILD from the atom — every device is just the electron field, harnessed (applied electromagnetism, not new physics)

⊕ Atomic ↔ Quantum (the isomorphism)

the classical shell picture is a low-res shadow of the wavefunction — shell n = n de Broglie wavelengths

✦ Things you might not know

Is gravity part of the atom? Technically yes — every particle has mass, so gravity is present. But between two protons it's about 10³⁶ times weaker than their electromagnetic repulsion: utterly negligible inside an atom. Gravity builds stars and galaxies; it does essentially nothing to chemistry. The only place it might matter is the Planck scale, where quantum mechanics and gravity must meet — and that theory doesn't exist yet. So the GRAVITY lens is honest: present, and doing nothing here. And the scale stays a schematic — the real nucleus is ~1/100,000 of the atom, smaller than a pixel.
