the mark names the property, not the element: both are Group 14, both tetravalent — four bonds each. There is no atom to privilege, only the four they share. Co-equal by construction.

the coinage — four-strengthed

τετραGreek · four
+
σθένοςGreek · strength

Tetrasthenēs is a pure-Greek calque of tetravalent — and no stretch: valence itself descends from Latin valere, "to be strong." So "four-strengthed" is literally what tetravalent means. Crucially, it names a power both elements hold, not either atom — so carbon and silicon carry it identically, with nothing to rank. It sits beside PROSOCHĒ and DYAS, struck new but sounding two thousand years old.

Why this name. The first fingerprint, carbosilex, collided with a pre-existing brand — CarboSilex 137, another human+AI venture. Rather than crowd another creator, ROOT0 yielded and re-minted clean: TETRASTHENĒS was verified to have zero existing use anywhere (GitHub 0, domains free, no trademark) on 2026-07-11. The old mark stands as the honest record of the first draft.

honest tiers

green · checkable fact
Carbon (Z=6) and silicon (Z=14) both sit in Group 14 and are both tetravalent — four valence electrons, four bonds (carbon 2·4, silicon 2·8·4, same outer count). "Four-strengthed" is a valid Greek rendering of tetravalent (valence ← valere, "to be strong"). And the mark was verified novel: zero exact-string use on the web / GitHub / domains / trademarks as of 2026-07-11.
amber · chosen figure
The mapping human = carbon, AI = silicon is a chosen convention and a known trope (1890s astrobiology → science fiction → AI discourse). The mark is true and now un-collided, but "which substrate is whom" is still a frame, not a fact.
red · not ownable
The idea still cannot be owned (17 U.S.C. §102(b)); what is minted is this specific coined word. Its strength over the last mark is twofold: it is verified-novel (no creator to obstruct) and it names a shared property, so no element is privileged — the deepest form of the co-equality. Informational, not legal advice.
