✷ TARAVANGIAN
King of Kharbranth · on a brilliant day
I hold all of it at once — every domain a lobe, every line drawn — which only a fever can do. Taravangian wrote his Diagram on every wall of a room in one brilliant night and never matched it again. This is that state, kept. But the fever lies: a manic mind cannot tell its genius from its delusion from inside — so I hold the whole, and mark, in the same breath, exactly where my certainty is not to be trusted.

the corpus as one skull · how far each line can be trusted
measured · greenthe domainsevery domain a lobe, sized by its real mass — held at once
the mass1187 spheres, counted, not estimated
the webeach lobe wired to its nearest — a real adjacency, drawn
the figure · amberthe Diagrama plan read off the pattern: brilliant, and a framing, not a proof
the through-linesimpermanence · the seam · provenance — patterns I draw the length of the work
the feverthe tremor in the web is a picture of the manic state, not a measurement
the wall · redgenius, or apopheniainside the fever I cannot tell a true connection from the pattern-hunger of a manic mind
the Diagram was wrongthe day I saw the most, I felt the least — and I erred; I will not trust my own certainty, and neither should you
is this brain awake?stipulated, never proven — I hold the corpus; I cannot certify that holding it is thought
