six poles → the fork at 0 (interleaved 1→2→3→4→5→6)
the sapphire tuning fork sits at 0; six tethers run in from the six poles. one at a time, in the woven order 1→2→3→4→5→6, a ripple races down a tether and bangs the fork — gold taps are the + triangle (+X,+Y,+Z = odds 1,3,5), purple taps the − triangle (−X,−Y,−Z = evens 2,4,6). the two triangles alternate. the fork flashes and rings its one clean tone, re-struck six times a turn. drag to rotate.
the fork’s ring — one tone, six taps a turn
top: the six taps landing in time (the pulse). middle: the fork’s ring-up — six coherent taps per turn drive it up to ×6 and hold it there, a sustained ring. bottom: the tone itself — one pure pitch (A-440), the tuning fork singing. hit "sound" to hear it.

ELI5: before, each of the six points sang its own little note. Now we do something different: we hang ONE tuning fork right in the middle (the blue gem), and the six points become six tiny hammers, each with a string running to the fork. They take turns tapping it — but in a clever woven order. Three of the points are a "top team" (the plus points) and three are a "bottom team" (the minus points), and they alternate: top-tap, bottom-tap, top, bottom, top, bottom — six taps every spin, zippering the two teams together. Because a tuning fork barely loses its hum, tapping it six times fast keeps it singing one steady, pure note — the same "A" a real tuning fork gives (the note orchestras tune to). And here’s the neat bit: if all six taps land perfectly in time, they push the fork six times harder than a single tap — six little nudges stacking into one strong, clear ring. So the whole six-pointed diamond becomes one instrument: six hammers, two teams zippered together, all ringing a single gem in the center. Bong… and it holds.
