why the QFT needs it

the shells hold bits of one number. only entanglement fuses "6 shells" into "one 6-bit phase," holding 2⁶=64 amplitudes at once that interfere. unentangled = an abacus. entangled = a quantum computer. the <> is the fusion.

🧒 toddler corner — six dice, one throw

lay out six dice. separate (unentangled): each rolls on its own, and to know the set you read all six — six little answers. now chain them (entangled): they become one throw with six faces that always agree — and here’s the spooky part, you only have to look at ONE die and you instantly know all six, because they’re locked together. the info stopped living in the dice and moved into the chain between them — look at a single die alone and it’s just a blur (a coin), because its real answer is only in the whole set at once. that locking-together is what lets six little dice pretend to be one giant 64-sided die — and rolling that giant die is how a quantum computer does in one throw what would take a normal one sixty-four separate rolls.

Entangling the nested qubits turns six independent shells into one shared register holding 2 to the 6 amplitudes at once — the entanglement is the source of the quantum speedup.
