whiter than white

LITPaper and cotton are naturally a little yellow because they absorb some blue. Optical brightening agents (fluorescent whitening agents, often stilbene derivatives) absorb near-UV light around 340–370 nm and re-emit blue light around 420–470 nm. That cancels the yellow cast and can push reflectance above 100% in the blue. Under a black light they glow.

MODELThe paper reflectance (a soft blue dip) and the brightener's emission band (Gaussian at 435 nm) are my shapes. The UV in the light source is a parameter, because the 380 nm CIE table cannot see UV directly. Colour goes through CIE with Bradford to D65. Nesting: the yellowed sheet inside a blue glow, rising to white, in the void.

self-checks (kernel, then page)

Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
