The Star Regulus
LITIn Newton's alchemy the "star regulus" was metallic antimony reduced from stibnite (Sb₂S₃), whose surface could crystallise into a radiating star; "the Net" was a purplish copper–antimony alloy with a net-like crystal surface. He copied George Starkey's Clavis (Keynes MS 18) and worked toward a "philosophical mercury", a specially prepared mercury meant to dissolve gold and make metals "vegetate" (per the Chymistry of Isaac Newton project, Indiana University, and W. R. Newman, Newton the Alchemist, 2019).
MODELA mezzotint plate. Particles wander and stick (diffusion-limited aggregation) with a six-fold bias: a star emerges from noise. Switch to the Net and copper is added: growth splits into a reticulated mesh. These are growth models, not a reconstruction of his furnace.

Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
