game of life · three rules
THE THREE RULES (Conway, 1970; B3/S23). Tick them together. The simulation runs only the ticked rules; a cell no ticked rule decides keeps its state.
Main (won): all three rules ticked is true Life, where gliders fly and guns fire. Ghost: any rule unticked. Without Survival the block dies; without Birth nothing new appears; without Death the grid only fills. MODELPlanck bubbles: each cell is one bubble, in three stacked layers at Dave’s scales 1×10⁻³⁶, 10⁻³⁶·⁰¹ and 10⁻³⁵·⁹⁹ m (Dave’s MODEL scale). LITThe CODATA Planck length is 1.616255×10⁻³⁵ m, so Dave’s middle layer is about 16× smaller. In coupled mode neighbours are counted across adjacent layers (up to 26): a 3D variant, not Conway’s Life. COMPUTEDEach generation’s state hash is reserved on Dave’s DurableAnchor ledger (id = world, epoch = generation). A rewind (lower epoch) and an altered state at a held epoch are refused.

Conway’s Game of Life (John Horton Conway, 1970) built from first principles; no pattern libraries or fetched data. Main track = the idea that won; ghost track = the challenger that lost. Entangled partner: the-208.

self-checks (kernel, then page)
Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
