pink diamond
LITMost natural pink diamonds owe their colour to a broad absorption band centred near 550 nm (2.2 eV), usually linked to plastic deformation: glide along {111} planes leaves pink "graining". A study of the 9.01 ct Grand Condé found the 550 nm band without visible graining, so the link is not one-to-one. The Argyle mine in Western Australia, the main source, closed in 2020 (closure date from memory).
COMPUTED2.2 eV = 1239.84/550. MODELThe band width and depth are my choices; deformation strain sets the depth. Tap to shear the lattice. Nesting: a colourless core, pink grain lines, void.

self-checks (kernel, then page)
Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
