bumps ≠ faculties
LITFranz Joseph Gall (around 1800) claimed that mental faculties live in skull regions whose bumps reveal character. It was debunked in the 19th century (Flourens' lesion work). In 2018, Parker Jones, Alfaro-Almagro and Jbabdi (Cortex) measured scalp curvature on about 6,000 UK Biobank MRIs against lifestyle traits and found no meaningful relationship. The real (and different) idea of localisation of function survived.
PSEUDOPhrenology readings.
COMPUTEDThe page simulates 6,000 heads whose bump heights are independent of a trait, computes the correlation for each of the 27 "organs", and shows how many reach "significance" by chance (α = 0.05, expect about 1.35), with and without Bonferroni correction.

Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
