Marbled Endpaper
This is a bath of size, with ink floated on top. Every drop of ink pushes all the ink already there outward by an exact area-preserving rule. Every pull of the stylus or comb drags the surface along by a rule that falls off with distance. Nothing else happens. The feathers, the nonpareil and the bouquets of marbled paper all emerge from those two moves applied over and over. The inks are the eight q.d colours. Drag to draw a stylus line. The drops, the combs and your strokes are each a reservation on the ledger.
LIT: ebru (Turkish paper marbling, 15th c. onward). MODEL: the mathematical marbling of Lu, Jaffer et al. (2012). A drop of radius r at c maps p to c + (p−c)·√(1 + r²/|p−c|²), which preserves area. A tine line moves p by z·u^{d}, where d is p's distance from the line. ANALOGY: the q.d inks.

Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
