inversion layer

LITAir normally cools with height; the International Standard Atmosphere uses 6.5 K/km from 288.15 K at sea level. In a temperature inversion, a warm layer sits above cooler air. Rising smoke reaches air warmer than itself, loses its buoyancy and is trapped, as in the London smog of December 1952. The stratosphere is itself a vast inversion, warmed by ozone.

MODELSmoke parcels cool at the dry adiabatic rate (9.8 K/km) and stop where they become colder than the surroundings. Smoke leaves the stack 6–10 K warmer than the air (my choice). The inversion sits at 0.8–1.3 km with strength on the slider.

self-checks (kernel, then page)

Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
