COMPUTEDThe zoo. The dot’s identity seeds a 64×64 soup on a 128² torus (Conway B3/S23, 600 generations). Next come Dave’s three Planck layers, independent, 64² each, 300 generations. Every 10 generations, each island (cells within 2 of each other) is run in isolation. It is admitted as a species only if it returns to its own shape, which gives its period (resonance).
