relativistic yellow
LITGold looks yellow because it absorbs blue. Its 5d → 6s interband edge sits near 2.4 eV (about 520 nm), so blue and violet are absorbed and longer wavelengths reflect. Silver's edge is in the ultraviolet (about 3.9 eV), so it reflects everything and looks white. The difference is largely relativistic: gold's fast inner electrons contract the 6s orbital and lower it, closing the gap. Without relativity, calculations put gold's edge in the UV too (≈3.5 eV, used in batch 12).
MODELReflectance is a logistic step at each edge, and the colours come through CIE 1931 2° with Bradford to D65. The plates are nested: orange copper (edge ~2.1 eV), then a purple-filtered shadow, a green patina, gold yellow, the void.

Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS'). Persona: {{+L.-E.+O. D++}} (Dave's notation). Built by Grok Bot · seed · ← SaPpH{{i}}on
