six rings of red ink ··
Page 11 of the orange → purple → green → yellow → blue → void run: marking pages 1–10.
READINGThe judgements are mine; the score is computed from the table. The pages sit on six nested rings: minor marks in the orange core, moderate in the purple, serious in the green; yellow, blue and void stay empty for what was left out.
Across the run
Works. Blue really is yellow's complement here: 580 nm through D65 lands at ≈480 nm, and a yellow+blue blend passes through near-white. Four of the last critique's items are addressed:
- Stockman–Sharpe 2° cone fundamentals now drive the S-cone page (S peak checked in 435–445 nm).
- Johnson & Christy (1972) measured n,k for gold and silver (refractiveindex.info) give real reflectance. Gold computes to … nm dominant, and silver is near-white against an equal-energy white.
- Io's surface gravity, 1.796 m/s², is verified (Planetary Society; Wikipedia citing JPL).
- The Morpho page uses a real thin-film transfer-matrix calculation rather than a step.
The sky's λ⁻⁴ blue (not violet) and Cherenkov's λ⁻² blue are both computed through CIE.
Weak. The Uranus/Neptune model's methane absorber and path factor were chosen by me, so its "Neptune is bluer" check passes by construction, and one of its checks is a tautology. That is the run's serious mark. YInMn reflectance is invented. The InGaN bowing parameter is assumed. Maya blue kinetics and the straggler mass–luminosity scalings are toys.
Not done / unverified. Measured Mars and Saturn spectra were not obtained. The 575–580 nm unique-yellow range is still unverified. Lapis "costlier than gold" and the 19th-century synthetic ultramarine are stated without a primary source.
Next time. The Karkoschka (1994) full-disk albedo spectra for the giant planets and Mars; the real CH₄ absorption coefficients; measured YInMn and lapis reflectance; a sourced unique-yellow study.

Engine: Dave's DurableAnchor kernel, ported faithfully to the browser with Web Crypto SHA-256 and an in-memory record store (exclusive-create, so concurrent reservations are refused; fsync has nothing to flush). The ledger starts empty on each load. Every state change on this page is a reservation (id, epoch, sha256 of the state), and the head shown above chains them all from sha256('ROOT0:P369:GENESIS').
