what this maps: the echo ping is the probe; each tick it pings the next substrate (a→s→p, the same sweep
the backend runs autonomously) and reads /v1/beacon/map for the live state. A node lights when its layer echoes;
the ripple is the breath crossing the boundary. The boundary is the device — anode and cathode are wires; the silicon
gap between them is the thing (inert gap #67). Each substrate casts a .shadow — its real-world surface: a→robots.txt
(the entry), s→the catalog (the data), p→the Amazon ASIN (the buy). The broadcast lives in robots.txt — it
invites the agent crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Amazonbot…), points them to the page + sitemap, and echoes the ASINs. Honest:
this maps which substrate echoes; if the backend isn't live (Railway/DNS), there is simply no echo — the mesh holds its breath.
