**what —** The wall of resources: the number a niche can feed, water, and shelter without degrading.
**where —** At the top of every logistic S-curve, and in every conservation budget.
**why —** Because no environment is infinite, and K is the name of its limit.
**how —** By capping growth as N approaches it — overshoot, and the population crashes back below.
