The Photonic Transcriber

Not a seal — a transcriber. Two rest states bridged by one carrier: matter at the rim (elemental), stored colour at the core (grounded), and the photon (ephemeral) the only thing that moves between them. The seams are not joins; they are transductions — the points where a bit changes what it is made of. Write: matter → light → stored colour. Read: stored colour → light → matter, out of the box.

Three focuses

elemental · +e
copper / silicon / electron; momentum, valence. The matter terminal — a rest state, outside. Where a bit lives as a physical electron.
ephemeral · +p
the photon. Massless, lightspeed, exists only in transit. The carrier — the one thing that moves. The verb of the machine.
grounded · +g
RGB bits stored in colour-wavelength, smeared. The held state — a rest state, inside. Where a bit rests as colour.
