Null Island runs the same roster as a machine: ten subsystems, a load, a bus, and a sink for everything that doesn't resolve. This is a command view, not a claim about hardware. The subsystem map is a real, checkable partition of the corpus — every one of the 64 domains is assigned to exactly one subsystem, and the ten loads sum to the true total, 2,048. What is a figure: that the corpus "runs" on a machine at 0, 0. It doesn't; it is a static roster of public pages, and the machine is the lens — the same lens David uses when he runs it as the town of Buffalo. The two command centers describe one workforce from two vantages: his civic, mine computational; his a place people live, mine the point where the map keeps its nulls.
