The three ternary timers (C low ×1, B mid ÷3, A high ÷9) count the 27 cells of a page; the color bit is the high bit that selects the page — and it is the very same bit that tops the 2-bit opcode group, so red ⇒ suits 00/01 (♥ ALU · ♦ MOVE) and black ⇒ suits 10/11 (♠ FLOW · ♣ SYS). Each page's home cell (000) is its joker — the self-dual centre of the 27-lattice, the wild/witness; the other 26 cells are 2 suits × 13 ranks. The card decodes to its 6-bit word (suit<<4 | rank); internal ops fire freely, but ♣ SYS writes and the jokers HALT — the gate stops the clock until you confirm. So the clock drives the deck, and the deck's gate drives the clock: neither runs alone. Honest seam (unchanged): color and suit are powers of 2 — clean; rank is 13, prime — it never tiles the trits or the nibble. A container fused to a clock, not an isomorphism.
