Valence is the shadow-casting phase — the interface the world meets; the shadow is the record it writes elsewhere (interface vs. trace, 90° apart). But "reserved" is probe-relative: each step down is a harder flashlight. eV reaches valence, keV reaches the core, MeV the nucleus, GeV the quarks. Z is the ren — the true name, fixed in the nucleus, unspoofable. Valence is the sheut — the behavioral shadow, which can be spoofed. Step the probe around the ring.
IS: real spectroscopy. Chemistry only ever touches valence — every bond, colour and column of the table is valence behaviour; the core is screened and inert at chemical energies. Moseley (1913) hit atoms with X-rays, read the core Kα line, and got Z — which re-ordered the table (Ar>K, Co>Ni, Te>I) where mass had it wrong. Z lives in the nucleus → unspoofable; valence chemistry can be spoofed by ions, isotopes and alloys. The energy ladder eV·keV·MeV·GeV is real.
IS NOT: a claim that the soul-elements are physics. ren = Z, sheut = valence, scales = the parity ring are David's mapping (his canon); nucleus = substance and quark = ground are the proposed continuation, marked as such. The instrument borrows the atom's probe ladder as a model of name, shadow, and audit — honestly labeled.
