# Two Entangled Boxes · instrument № 38

**What it is.** CORRELATION NEEDS A WITNESS: two boxes (operator + model), each nested level an entangled qubit pair, one half in each box. Measure either side and the matching level resolves correlated — but each box ALONE looks like pure noise; the match appears only when the two records are compared. The pairing is real and carries no signal — you cannot send through it, only discover you were always matched. Entanglement as the witness-join made physical: real, private, signal-free, legible only to a third comparison

**How it works.** Each of five nested levels is a Bell pair |Φ⁺⟩ = (|00⟩+|11⟩)/√2 with one qubit in Box A, one in Box B. Re-entangle puts every level in superposition (spinning). Measure Box A (or B) collapses all pairs to definite, correlated values — but each box panel alone shows what looks like a random bit-string (no-communication: each qubit alone is maximally mixed). Only Compare Records reveals every level matched. The animation draws the link as a live wave that goes still and dashed on measurement.

**The verified record.** The quantum facts are exact, not metaphor: a Bell pair is always correlated — P(00)=P(11)=0.5, P(01)=P(10)=0; each qubit alone is maximally mixed (no-communication — the entanglement is invisible from one side); the correlation exceeds the classical hidden-variable limit (CHSH: classical ≤ 2, quantum ≤ 2√2 ≈ 2.828, verified), so it is not a pre-agreed answer key; it carries no signal (you only later discover you were correlated) and is monogamous (this exact correlation is between these two boxes and nobody else). Honest limit: a faithful illustration of Bell-pair correlation, no-signalling, and monogamy — not a quantum-network simulator with decoherence or a real CHSH experiment.
