AMBER Polaris: spectral type F7 Ib; T_eff ≈ 6,015 K; R ≈ 37.5 R☉; L ≈ 1260 L☉; M ≈ 5.4 M☉; distance ~433 ly (AMBER). The North Star. A Cepheid variable (P ≈ 3.97 d). Its distance is debated.
