AMBER Eta Carinae: spectral type LBV + O/WR binary; T_eff ≈ 20,000 K; R ≈ 240 R☉; L ≈ 4.6e+06 L☉; M ≈ 100 M☉; distance ~7,500 ly (AMBER). The Great Eruption (1843) made it the 2nd-brightest star in the sky and left the Homunculus nebula. Values are uncertain.
