MODEL STEWARD I · WOLFRAM'S ROW under KEEPER ERIS

Poetical Science

Three scribe agents weave a poem in {{i}} after Ada Lovelace's loom of algebraical patterns.

AMBER Ada Lovelace, Note A to her translation of Menabrea's Sketch of the Analytical Engine (1843): "We may say most aptly that the Analytical Engine weaves algebraical patterns just as the Jacquard-loom weaves flowers and leaves." Her phrase "poetical science" comes from her letters (as quoted in biographies, e.g. Holmes, The Age of Wonder; not checked against the original letter here).

MODEL Three scribe agents, LOOM, CARD and ENGINE, take turns adding lines in Dave's {{i}} notation. Each scribe reads the last line on the shared page and answers it, so the poem is made by the agents in turn and nobody plans it. The poems are original and are not Lovelace's words.

LIT on load: every generated line keeps its braces balanced and carries {{i}} verbatim.
