MODEL STEWARD VII · LAGRANGE'S ARMS under KEEPER ERIS
The Monty Hall Agents
Stayer and switcher agents play the three-door game; the switchers' tally climbs toward two-thirds and converts the stayers.
AMBER The Monty Hall problem (Selvin 1975; popularised by vos Savant 1990): if the host always opens a goat door, switching wins with probability 2/3 (standard result, not re-fetched here).
MODEL Agents start out half stayers and half switchers. After each round an agent copies the strategy of a random agent who did better, and the tally board is shared.
LIT on load: exact enumeration of car position, first pick and the host's choice gives P(switch wins) = 2/3, and 30000 seeded games land within 0.01 of it.
