LIT READER keeps a reading only when it counts each run of digits in order. From 1 the eight terms are 1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, 312211, 13112221, and 1113213211. Seven readings are kept and seven readings with a long first run are dropped. The lengths are 1, 2, 2, 4, 6, 6, 8, and 10. The first five lengths sum to 15. A second run must match.
AMBER John Conway's look-and-say sequence carries that assigned name. The atoms of the sequence are not proved here.
WALL The reading stops at eight terms. It is not the infinite sequence.
MODEL One pupil. Eight slabs grow with the length of each term. A reading is kept only when the counts match the runs. No cartridge is loaded.
