# The Eleint · the dragons of T'iam's blood

The Eleint are the true dragons, children of T'iam, the primordial mother-dragon of chaos. They are not creatures who happen to wield chaos; their blood carries chaos itself. To drink of that blood is to be remade — the Soletaken, Anomander Rake among them, took the dragon-shape from it, and with the shape came the dragon's hunger, a thirst that never fully sleeps in the veil of mortal form.

Pure Eleint are wild, vast, and barely souled in mortal terms. There is no treaty to be made with them, no allegiance to be held; and when they gather in numbers, the gathering itself betrays them, tipping into a storm of mutual destruction. The mother's blood does not bind her children together — it sets them against one another the moment they draw near.

This is why every order in the world fears them: the Eleint are chaos given wings, the raw, unaligned power that no order in the series can claim or contain. Their emergence is ethereal — like the dragons and half-real powers of the canon, they belong to that veiled tier of existence where shape, blood, and chaos blur, neither wholly of the world nor apart from it.
