Each domain holds its own ECDSA P-256 keypair (made in your browser) and its own hash chain. A pulse is signed with the sender's private key; every receiver verifies it with the sender's public key — tamper a pulse and verification truly fails. In gossip mode it ripples to a few neighbors at a time; a pulse COMMITS only when a quorum (≥10 of 14) verify & ack. "verify sigs" re-checks every committed signature.
