100 hydrogen atoms in the Higgs field — honestly
A 10×10 grid of hydrogen, drawn with every comfortable lie flagged. Each atom is one proton, one electron — the electron a diffuse probability cloud, not an orbit. Behind them, the uniform Higgs field, the same value at every site. But four things the pretty version gets wrong, kept honest here: the nucleus is drawn as a visible dot and is not to scale — at true scale it is sub-pixel, because the atom is ~10¹⁴× emptier than its core; the Higgs field fills every atom yet gives only ~1% of the mass (the proton is ~99% strong-force binding energy); the electron is held by electromagnetism at 13.6 eV, not by the field; and a grid of lone H atoms is a scaffold — real hydrogen bonds into H₂.
