# The Formless Mother · the wound-loving god of blood

The Formless Mother is the Outer God of blood — a wounded, formless presence that craves wounds and offers accursed blood in return. She is not a body to be found in the Lands Between but a power that reaches into it, and what she touches she marks in red. Her element is blood itself: the fire that curdles from it, the devotion that bleeds.

Her foothold in the world is Mohg, the Lord of Blood, who pledged himself to her. In the Mohgwyn dynasty's palace beneath the earth, he bathed in her bloodflame, dreaming of a dynasty with Miquella as its god. The exchange is the whole of her nature — wounds given, accursed blood granted, a lord made hers by what he bled and what he burned.

Her emergence is ethereal because she is an Outer God in the fullest sense: unseen, formless, a power that acts on the world without ever standing in it. She is half-real the way a wound's ache is real — felt everywhere, located nowhere.
