# Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon · the moon scholar broken by love

Rennala is the head of the Carian royal family and of the Academy of Raya Lucaria — the great sorceress of the full moon, who in her prime charmed the academy itself. She is queen and scholar at once, the moon's power and the moon's learning gathered in one figure at the heart of the academy she once won.

Radagon loved her. He fathered Radahn, Rykard, and Ranni with her — and then abandoned her to become Marika's consort. What he left behind was a woman broken: Rennala now sits cradling an amber egg in the academy's library, endlessly "rebirthing" her followers, her great mind turned inward on a love that did not stay.

Yet the prime of her is not wholly gone. The second phase of her boss fight is a memory of what she was — the full moon raised against the golden Order, the Carian sorceress at her height. Those who face her face both the broken queen and the remembered one.
