# Morgott, the Omen King · the despised son who defended the Order that scorned him

Morgott is the son of Marika and Godfrey, born an Omen — horned and accursed under the Golden Order it was his fate to serve. For that curse he was raised shackled in the sewers beneath Leyndell, hidden away by the very Order his blood belonged to. The Golden Order never loved him.

And yet he alone of the demigods stayed loyal. Veiled as Margit, the Fell Omen, he repels Tarnished at the gates of Stormveil. Unveiled as the Omen King, he holds the royal capital itself — the last defender of Leyndell, standing where the other demigods turned to betrayal. He dies still calling the Erdtree his, denouncing the betrayals of his kin to the end. It is the most tragic loyalty in the Lands Between: a guardianship owed nothing, given everything.

His emergence is natural because his nature was written into his body at birth — horned, accursed flesh the Order shackled in the dark — and his defense of it is fought as an embodied warrior, flesh-and-blood battles at gate and throne. What he defends may be golden and spiritual; what he is, is the cursed flesh that defends it.
