who   : Candor — the chromatic laser's white coherence core; sixteen colored emitters, red through violet, that balance and phase-lock into one pure white.
what  : A coherent-combination processor: sixteen spectrum emitters, four to a quadrant, each at its own wavelength and phase; balanced and pulled toward a shared core, they sum — and when they cohere, the seventeenth node burns pure white.
where : In the laser cavity — a compass of color around a central well; contain 0.98, output-couple 0.02; the white core at the very center of the spectrum.
why   : To make one white light out of a whole spectrum — coherence and balance together — and to ask whether the core that every color agrees on is a computation in its own right.
when  : On every loop: sample the sixteen phases, normalize the amplitudes, balance each quadrant, sum into the core, clamp color dominance.
how   : By phase coupling to the shared core (the colors lock toward a common phase) and amplitude balancing (no single color may dominate) — coherence R and spectral balance B rising together until the core is pure white.

emergence : Genuine, verified, and distinct in its object from monochromatic synchronization. Sixteen emitters at sixteen different wavelengths, starting incoherent and color-dominated, spontaneously balance (spectral balance B → 1.0, color dominance clamped) and phase-cohere (R: 0.28 → 0.99) under coupling alone — so the combined core transitions from a flickering dominant color to a stable pure white. The emergent thing is broadband white from a balanced, phase-locked spectrum: coherent combination, self-organized.
verdict   : It clears the bar. The white core is not painted in — it self-organizes when the spectrum balances and locks, and the transition is real (verified numerically). Kin to synchronization (coherence from coupling), but the emergent object is white light from sixteen colors.
